Discussion:

The surface circulation of Tapah has continued to spin down and broaden since the previous advisory. Although radar imagery continues to show some cyclonic turning with a few rain bands near the center, most of this is likely not happening near the surface. Tapah’s circulation does not have enough definition to be considered a tropical cyclone, so it has dissipated. The remnants of Tapah will likely drift westward for another day or two, and scattered heavy rainfall is likely in portions of southern China during that time.

This is the last advisory on Tapah.
